Thank you for getting this far! A few answers to possible questions.
How do I place an order?
Pop over to the Menu & Order page, select a delivery slot and select items you wish to order with preferred variations, then simply checkout. It should be "simple" however, on occasions technology gets the better of us and lets us down; should this happen, please contact us by email or phone.
Why Delivery Only? I'm available to collect!
Several practical reasons:
1)Due to location, parking is not available.
2)Security means the enterprise centre is securely locked at certain times of the week and evenings.
3)Every cm of unit space is utilised for kitchen, food prep and storage. Standing/waiting area is not possible.
Will My Order Arrive at the Exact Delivery Time?
We do not use delivery app companies, therefore delivery times are approximate and every effort is made to get you your order within your time slot. On occasions, there may be delays, if severe we will be in contact with you. During busy times, we may request a change if possible.
Why Can I Not Find a Delivery Slot?
As we don't use Delivery App companies, we are having to devise our own logistics to streamline deliveries. The aim is to ensure that food from kitchen arrives to the destination as efficiently as possible. Again if you can't find a delivery, please contact, we may be able to do this manually.
Why Do I Need to Pre-Order?
I Don't Need to do This Anywhere Else!
We are a very small kitchen unit team with an aim to producing good quality food. To achieve this we believe food must be fresh. By knowing what we are cooking in advance, helps us organise accordingly and hopefully we can completely eliminate food waste.
Just as we book a table at our favourite restaurants to avoid disappointments.
However, we understand the power of spontaneity so please contact us, we just may be able to accommodate.
Can Menu Ingredients be Adapted & Changed?
Yes, a Special Request box should appear as you place your order, you can let us know of changes/preferences.
Why Do You Not Have Printed Menus Like Normal?
From time to time, we get inspiration as certain produce come into season. Additionally, you may decide to have a change of food scenery. We can add, amend, change the online menu without wasting resources incurred with printing.
How Do I Inform You of Allergies?
Complete the Special Request box to let us know of allergies. Most of our dishes contain wheat, sesame, nuts, crustaceans and other allergens. Please let us know if you have allergies and we can accommodate or suggest alternatives.
Why Does the Food Taste & Look Different?
We do not use food colourings, artificial additives, flavourings, and emulsifiers in our food. MSG flavour enhancer is used extensively in Chinese cuisine and although argued has no adverse effects, for some it causes headaches and makes food highly addictive. We hope you enjoy what we produce from our Smart Kitchen without the need for such flavour enhancers.
We acknowledge that our food may not suit everyone, but we uphold our principles and will not consider adding such ingredients to our food. Please consider this prior to ordering.
